Learning Mentors at Woodlands Primary School support with delivering various workshops and fundraisers. Some workshops are run off site by the borough.

Support with English as an Additional Language

- Conversational Club (in school)

- ESOL Entry Level 1 (Community Link with Loxford – for both school parent)

 

Workshops delivered in school

- Phonics for EYFS and KS1 parents

- Maths for parents of each Year Group

- Healthy Workshops for EYFS parents (5 week)

- First Aid for parents

 

Coffee mornings

- SEN – external agencies are invited to provide information for parents

- Attendance meetings for EYFS parents with Mrs Khan and EWO

- Parent Volunteers

Family Learning Courses – delivered by Redbridge Institute of Adult Education

- Keeping up with the Children - Fit ‘n’ Fun

- Keeping up with the Children – Science

- Keeping up with the Children – Good Children, Great Parents

- Keeping up with the Children – Learning through Play (3 weeks)

- Parent Gym (parenting course - 6 weeks)
